Donon
The Massif du Donon is at an altitude of 1009 m, the highest point of the lower Vosges, at the junction of the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine. Since prehistory, because it is visible from afar, it is attributed to it a sacred character that will never leave it. Its secluded location promotes the development of legends, mixing myth and reality. The Romans, mysteriously seduced, dedicated the site to Mercury. Feared by the first Christians, Donon has since presided over the design of Victor Hugo. Under Napoleon III, a successful pastiche of ancient temple crowned the summit.

War in Vosges
Museum,center of memory, dedicated to the amateurs of history aswell as to the curious features an important collection of objects and documents, permanent and temporary exhibitions, cultural animations, conferences, an important collection of weapons, uniforms , equipment and documents on the Great War. Sawmill of La Hallière
Museum
The high-iron sawmill of the Hallière classified as a Historic Monument: the water that saws the wood! Built at the beginning of the 19th century, this alternative sawmill called high iron works functioned commercially up to 1976.
Classified as a Historic Monument in 1978, this local gem is a strong heritage and sentimental element for the inhabitants of the valley. A link of social cohesion, the site attracts 10,000 visitors each year.
